Our story began in 1987 with the founding of Achievement Concepts. This early work established the core belief that has guided us ever since: true leadership transformation is not just taught, it is experienced.
This foundational work was built on three timeless principles of adult learning:

Our signature tool: the Heartstyles Indicator.
The Heartstyles Indicator is a proprietary organisational tool we developed to move beyond surface-level behaviours and reveal the core motivations that drive leadership. It serves as a practical ‘life indicator, providing a clear, data-driven framework for individuals and teams to build cultures of trust, humility, and psychological safety.

From our work to the written word: ‘Above The Line’
In 2020, we partnered with HarperCollins Business to publish ‘Above The Line: Living and Leading with Heart.’ This book codifies the principles of the Heartstyles philosophy, making our life’s work on principled leadership accessible to a global audience of senior leaders and their teams.

In 2020, we transitioned to a focused consultancy model. This allows us to dedicate our time to a select number of high-impact engagements with senior leaders and their teams, offering the direct principles based guidance that has defined our careers.
